Trading in the capital market after index raises

On the fourth working day of the week, the country's main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), and the other stock market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) is trading with the rise of the index. This information was given by DSE and CSE sources on Wednesday (December 29).

At 11 a.m., one hour after the start of trading on Wednesday, the DSE general index DSEX rose 9 points to 6,752 points. The DSE Shariah Index rose 1 point and the DSE-30 Index rose 3 points to 1432 and 2527 points respectively. A total of 160 crores 5 lakh shares and mutual fund units were traded during this period.

Of the companies traded on Wednesday, 198 rose, 97 fell and 67 remained unchanged. The top 10 companies traded on Wednesday were BSc, BSCCL, One Bank, Asia Insurance, Beximco Limited, Dhaka Dyeing, Hamid Fabrics, Lafarge Holcim, Paramount Textile, and Active Fine.
