Winter has started to increase from the first day of the
year. In the next few days, it has been reported that the intensity of winter
may increase in different parts of the country including Dhaka.
According to the Meteorological Department, fog is likely to
increase in most parts of the country on Sunday (January 2). At the same time,
the feeling of winter may be more in the southwest. Cold waves may start in
Jessore-Chuadanga and surrounding districts. In the next few days, the cold spells
may spread to the north and southwest.
Meteorologist Omar Farooq said that the clouds have moved
from the sky of Bangladesh. As a result, the sun has started to rise during the
day. And at night the temperature has started to drop. Over the next few days, the winter may continue to grow. Colds can spread.
Meanwhile, the long-term forecast said that there is a possibility
of normal rainfall in the country in January. There may be two to three mild
cold spells in the country this month.
