Two Japanese kids Jasmine Malika and Laila Lina will stay
with their mother Nakano Erico at Hotel Escort Palace in Baridhara till January
23. Besides, their Bangladeshi father Imran Sharif can meet the children
anytime between 9 am to 9 pm every day. During this time the mothers of the
children have been asked to file regular appeals against the judgment of the
High Court. The Appellate Division will issue the next order on January 24.

Siddiqui passed the order on Monday (January 3).
Advocate Ahsanul Karim appeared for the Japanese mother in court. He was assisted by Advocate Mohammad Shishir Monir. Advocate Fawzia
Karim was on behalf of Bangladeshi father Imran Sharif. He was assisted by Barrister
Maruful Islam.
Earlier, on December 15, the Appellate Division said in an
order that two children, Jasmine Malika and Laila Lina, would remain with
Japanese mother Nakano Erico until January 3. However, every day between 9 am
to 9 pm, their father Imran Sharif can meet the children at any time.
On December 5, Japanese mother Nakano Erico appealed to the
Appellate Division against the High Court's decision to take custody of two
children, Jasmine Malika, and Laila Lina.
Earlier, on November 21, the High Court ruled that two
Japanese children, Jasmine Malika and Laila Lina, would stay in Bangladesh with
their father, Imran Sharif.
