The intensity of winter has increased all over the country.
The meteorological office said that although the winter has increased a bit, it
is not a cold wave. However, in the next two-three days, the severity of winter
may increase further and cold waves may descend.
Meteorologists say that if the temperature at multiple
stations is regularly below 10 degrees, it is called a cold spell. So far the
temperature has not dropped below 10 degrees anywhere except one place in the
country.
Meteorologist Tariful Newaz Kabir said, 'December-January is
usually cold. So far this year, the cold wave has not come. However, after two
or three days, the winter will increase. Since the temperature in Srimangal
alone is below 10 degrees, we cannot calculate the maximum and minimum
temperature and immediately say that the cold wave is prevailing now.'
Meanwhile, the weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 6
pm yesterday said that the extension of the subcontinental high zone is located
in West Bengal and adjoining areas. The normal light pressure of the season is
located in the South Bay. The weather across the country may remain dry today
with temporary partly cloudy skies. Moderate to heavy fog is expected across
the country from midnight to morning. Night and day temperatures may remain
almost unchanged across the country and night temperatures may gradually
decrease.
