ACC started investigating the corruption of Shilpakala DG

A team of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is going to investigate against the Director-General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Mohammad Liaquat Ali Lucky on various allegations of irregularities and corruption. This information was given by the public relations branch of the ACC on Monday (January 3).

A team has been formed comprising Deputy Director of ACC Head Office Mohammad Ibrahim and Assistant Director Afnan Jannat Keya. Besides, director Syed Iqbal Hossain has been appointed as the supervising officer.

According to ACC sources, Liaquat Ali Lucky is accused of taking bribes, abuse of power, embezzling hundreds of crores of money through fake bill vouchers including various irregularities and corruption.
