3 bodies were recovered from the same house in Dhaka

Police have recovered the burnt bodies of three people from a Tin Shed house of ​​Chandal Bhog area of Turag Police Station in Dhaka. The bodies of the deceased are still at the spot. At the end of the inquest, the bodies will be sent to the hospital for autopsy.

Turag Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mehedi Hasan confirmed the information on Tuesday (January 4) morning. The dead are Md. Jahangir (19), Ruma Akhter (17) and Afrin (14).

OC Mehedi Hasan said, "I came to know that a fire broke out in a tin shed house of Chandal Bhog area at around 4 in the morning. The bodies of three people from the same house have been recovered in this incident. The body could not be identified immediately as it was burnt in the fire. However, it has been learned through the locals that the two killed were brothers and sisters and the other was their cousin.

He said the bodies of the victims were still at the spot. After the inquest, the bodies will be sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

The fire was initially thought to have started from an electrical short-circuit.
