Cold wave disrupts public life and low-income people in misery

Mild cold wave is prevailing in some parts of the north and north-west of the country. Public life in Dinajpur was disrupted by thick fog and severe cold. The district temperature on Wednesday (January 5) morning was 10.5 degrees Celsius.

People clinging to the cold air. Shredded and hard-working people are in more trouble. Low-income people are trying to prevent winter by lighting fires.

Dinajpur Meteorological Department official Tofazzal Hossain said the minimum temperature in the district at 9 am was 10.5 degrees Celsius and the wind speed was 4-6 kmph. The lowest temperature in the country was 8.7 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.

He added that the mild cold wave may continue till January 7. Then gradually the weather is likely to improve somewhat.
