Turkish Home Minister Solaiman Soylu has arrived in
Bangladesh on a one-day visit. After landing in Bangladesh, he went directly to
visit the Rohingya camp at Ukhia in Cox's Bazar. The convoy, accompanied by the
Turkish Interior Minister, reached Rohingya Camp No. 9 in Ukhia around 10:30 am
in perfect security.
He arrived at Cox's Bazar International Airport directly
from Istanbul, Turkey, on a special flight at 8 am on Saturday (January 8).

Enamur Rahman received the Turkish Home Minister at the airport. The delegation
then marched from Cox's Bazar to the Rohingya camp in Ukhia. He inaugurated the
Turkish Field Hospital and tree planting activities.
In Camp-17, Solaiman Sayelur is expected to monitor the
ongoing projects run by various Turkish organizations with humanitarian
assistance to the Rohingya, as well as to participate in a limited exchange of
views with the benefited Rohingya.

Range DIG of Police Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Cox's Bazar Deputy Commissioner
Mohammad Mamunur Rashid, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Hasanuzzaman, and
officials of the Turkish Embassy in Dhaka were present at that time.
A 20-member delegation led by the Turkish Interior Minister will return to Dhaka at noon after inspecting various activities at the Rohingya camp, including field hospitals run by the Turkish government and various agencies. Arriving in Dhaka in the afternoon, he will have a bilateral meeting with Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and will leave Dhaka for Turkey after a one-day visit at night.
