PM inaugurated the foundation stone of Cancer Hospital in 8 divisions

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated the foundation stone of a project to set up 100-bed full-fledged cancer treatment centers in eight divisional cities of the country. She inaugurated the virtual project from Ganobhaban on Sunday (January 9).

In her inaugural address, the Prime Minister said, "We need to research why there is so much cancer in the country. We need to find out why people are suffering from this kind of disease."

She said we want to build technologically advanced manpower. And we have to deal with this epidemic anyway. For this, we have to create awareness among the people.

She further said that we want to take Bangladesh forward as a modern, knowledgeable Bangladesh. The dream Bangladesh of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation.
