4 killed in truck crash in Kushtia

Four pedestrians were killed when a truck hit them in Kushtia district. The accident took place in the Vadalia area of the district around 8 am on Monday (January 10). The deceased have been identified as workers of a cigarette factory.

Earlier, two motorcyclists were killed when a truck hit them in Daulatpur Upazila of the district around 9:30 pm on Sunday (January 9). Later, the locals got angry and set the truck on fire, and stopped the fire service vehicle for some time. Later the police came and took control of the situation.
