Omicron patients increased to 30 in Bangladesh

The corona infection situation in Bangladesh is rapidly deteriorating. Sample tests, the number of patients identified, the rate of detection compared to sample tests, are all increasing. The number of confirmed cases of Omicron, the new variant of coronavirus has increased to 30 in the country.

As of Monday morning (January 10), genetic analysis of a corona patient's sample in the country had identified the patient infected with Omicron.

On December 10, the first case of Omicron was identified in the country. Two members of the Bangladesh women's cricket team returning from Zimbabwe first became infected with the new variant omicron. They have already recovered and returned home. Omicron has spread very fast all over the world. No other type of coronavirus has been shown to spread so fast. I6t is still unknown whether this increase in infections in the country is due to new strains of coronavirus or something else.
