Narayanganj-4 MP Shamim Osman said, "This is the most difficult press conference of my life."

He made the remarks at a news conference on Monday (January 10th).

Shamim Osman said, "I did not come into politics because of party views, I came to do politics out of love for Bangabandhu." I am not against the Nauka, the Nauka symbol is a symbol bought with our blood. From today I am getting on the field as Nauka.

He further said, ‘Awami League is a big family, there will be anger, there will be pride. Swearing and forgetting all the cases, I have gone where I needed to go, I have invited. I'm human, not a robot. I feel bad too.'

Shamim Osman said, "The game will be played on the 16th and we will definitely win that game. Sheikh Hasina's candidate has to be passed in Narayanganj and we will pass inshaAllah. It doesn't matter who the candidate is, who cares, banana or mango. I'll only see my Nauka. Narayanganj is the base of Awami League. Base of Sheikh Hasina. Don't try to play another game here.'

Referring to the mayoral candidate Taimur Alam Khandaker, he said, "I will tell the BNP mayoral candidate Taimur Alam Khandaker, you speak your mind." Elephants will not be able to sink Nauka in Narayanganj. BNP does not have that power in Narayanganj. We will run with elephants on our shoulders, but we will not let them get on the Nauka. The Nauka is a symbol of existence. I apologize to the Election Commission.
