Sudden rain in different parts of the country, cold will increase

At the end of Poush, different districts of the country including the capital got wet in rain. It has already rained in different parts of the country including the capital. The meteorological office said that the winter could be in full swing as soon as the trend of rains is stopped. In the month of Magh, the temperature may drop to 4 to 6 degrees.

According to meteorologist Mohammad Ruhul Quddush, the daytime and nighttime temperatures have risen due to the rains. As a result, the feeling of winter has decreased. However, when the rains stop, the temperature will continue to drop again.

Light to drizzle was reported in different parts of the country on Tuesday (January 11). However, it started raining in the capital and its surrounding areas from evening. There were also thunderstorms with drizzle.

According to meteorologist Mohammad Omar Farooq, light or drizzle is expected in some parts of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Khulna divisions and a couple of places in Mymensingh, Chittagong, Barisal and Sylhet divisions till Wednesday (January 12) evening. Light to moderate fog is also expected from midnight to early morning in some parts of the country. Rainfall will continue till Thursday (January 13).
