Chairman of the International Criminal Tribunal tastes Covid Positive

Justice Md. Shahinur Islam, chairman of the International Criminal Tribunal caught corona virus during a visit to the United States. Today, Wednesday (January 12), the tribunal's IT adviser Mehdi Masood confirmed the matter.

Mehdi Masood said that Justice Mohammad Shahinur Islam went to the United States on December 17 last year. On January 7, he went for Covid test and reported positive. He is currently undergoing treatment at his son's house there. When he recovers, he will return to the country.

Justice Mohammad Shahinur Islam has been serving as the chairman of the International Criminal Tribunal since October 11, 2017.

The International Criminal Tribunal was formed on March 25, 2010 for the trial of the criminals against humanity during the war of liberation.
