‘Serial Killer’ in baul disguise

Helal Hossain alias Selim a baul singer was arrested by RAB and sentenced to life imprisonment in murder case.

He was arrested from Bhairab in Kishoreganj on Wednesday night (January 12).

According to the RAB, behind a singing model, Helal is a terrible murderer from North Bengal. There are three murder cases against him in the area. He became better known as the model of the song 'Bhanga Tari Chhera Pal'. He is also known as Baul alias Model Selim alias murderer Helal.

RAB Law and Media Branch Commander Khandaker Al Moin confirmed the information. He said, ‘Selim used to live in different shrines or railway stations. As far as we know, Selim was involved in at least three murders. He has been hiding himself for many years with her Baul costume.'

A press conference has been organized at the RAB media center in the capital's Karwan Bazar on Thursday morning to give details of his life involved in multiple murders and fleeing in disguise.
