Anti-drug operation in the capital, 51 arrested

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 51 people in anti-drug operations in different areas of the capital Dhaka. At that time, 1,902 pieces of yaba, 93 grams 105 pieces of pure heroin, 15 kg 360 grams of cannabis and 12 cans of beer were seized from them.

The operation was carried out in different police stations of the capital from 6 am on Friday (January 14) to 6 am today (Saturday, January 15).

A total of 41 cases have been registered against the arrested persons under the Narcotics Control Act.
