Taimur expects to win by lakhs of votes

Independent candidate Taimur Alam Khandaker is optimistic about winning the Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) election. He hopes to win by a margin of lakhs of votes. He expressed this hope in response to a question from reporters after voting at Narayanganj Islamia Kamil Madrasa Center at 8:30 am on Sunday (January 16). Taimur Alam Khandaker said that they are not allowed to enter without ID card. But it was not said, you need an ID card to vote. Voting can be done only if the thumb match. Those who match the thumb are allowed to vote. However, he urged the police and law enforcement agencies to check the situation so that no outsider can enter. It may be mentioned that voting has started from 8 am in 192 centers of 27 wards of Nashik. Which will run continuously till 4 pm. Voting is going on in all the centers through electronic voting machine (EVM). Ignoring the cold and fog, voters are flocking to the centers in groups in the morning. There has been a lot of enthusiasm among them for voting. Voters say they will elect their city mayor through a transparent and fair election. They hope that a fair election environment will prevail from the beginning of the polls to the counting.
