NCC Election: Voter turnout is increasing as day progresses

Voting is going on in Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) election. Voting started at 8 am on Sunday (January 16) and will continue uninterrupted till 4 pm. Ignoring the winter, voters have been seen coming to the center since dawn.

Amazement of the festival around the city have been noticed. Voter turnout is increasing as the day progresses. A long line of voters has been spotted at the Adarsha Government Primary School Center in Ward 14 of the city. Apart from this, the presence of voters has also been noticed in festive mood at Narayanganj Islamia Kamil Madrasa.

Meanwhile, a large turnout of male as well as female voters has been observed in the centers. They said that they came to the center to cast their votes in the morning to avoid crowds and trouble. They also have to handle household chores. That's why they want to return home early after giving their votes.

Seven people are contesting for the post of mayor in the election. However, the symbol of the two candidates at the center of the discussion is the Nauka and the Hati.

Police have also warned that no one will be spared for a fair and non-violent election.
