Court will conduct activities virtually as corona infection increases: Chief Justice

Chief Justice Hasan Fayez Siddiqui is seriously considering running a virtual court again as the Corona virus is on the rise again.

The Chief Justice made the remarks after taking a seat in the High Court on Tuesday (January 18) morning after 13 justices of the High Court Division caught Corona. The Chief Justice and five other judges of the Appellate Division came to the court around 9 am.

Lawyer Nazrul Islam Chowdhury drew attention to a case after taking the seat of judges.

At the time, Chief Justice Hasan Fayez Siddiqui said, "Already 13 of our judges and 36 lower court judges have been affected." Many staff have also been affected. We might as well go back to the virtual court. We are seriously considering the matter.
