Awami League supporters win in Narayanganj Bar Association election

Candidates for the Awami League-backed Bangabandhu Bar Council have won all 17 seats in the Narayanganj District Court Bar Association election. The election of Narayanganj Bar Association was held on Tuesday (January 18).

Chief Election Commissioner Advocate Samsul Islam Bhuiyan announced the results on the night after the election. Advocate Hasan Ferdous Jewel and General Secretary Advocate Rabiul Amin Rony have been elected as the President of the District Bar Council.

Also in the position of Senior Vice-president Advocate Alauddin Ahmed, Vice President Advocate Subash Biswas, Joint General Secretary Advocate Mahmudul Haque Momin, Treasurer Advocate Abul Bashar Rubel, Entertainment Secretary Advocate Mohammad Swapan Bhuiyan, Library Secretary Advocate Hashib Ul Hassan Rony, Sports Secretary Advocate Sohail Azad, Literary and Cultural Secretary Advocate Razia Amin Kanchi, Social Services Secretary Advocate Md. Rashed Bhuiyan, Law and Human Rights Secretary Advocate Abdul Mannan Advocate, Manjonam Advocate, Executive Member Adv. Ahmed, Advocate Meraj Sarkar and Advocate Anjan Das have been elected.
