High Court writ to close the educational institutions

A writ petition has been filed in the High Court seeking directions to close all educational institutions soon due to the outbreak of coronavirus in the country. The writ petition has directed to close all educational institutions for the next 30 days.

Lawyer Yunus Ali Akand filed the writ petition on Wednesday (January 19). The lawyer himself confirmed the matter of the writ.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has been running virtually since Wednesday (January 19) due to the rise of covid cases in the country. Judicial proceedings of both the Appellate and High Court divisions of the Supreme Court have started virtually.
