room, confirmed the matter on Monday (January 24) morning.
Rashed bin Khalid said, "We got the news of the fire at
Ulon Grid substation in Rampura of the capital at 7:20 in the morning."
Upon receiving the news, two of our units initially went to the spot. Later
three more units went to the spot. A total of five units worked for about an
hour and brought the fire under control around 8:20 am.
"Initially, we were thinking that since it was an
electrical substation, the fire could be caused by an electrical fault,"

exactly what caused the fire. The extent of the damage caused by the fire is
not yet known.
