3 killed in Chapainawabganj train collision

Three people were killed when a three-wheeler collided with a train at Chapainawabganj Sadar. The incident took place at 8:30 am on Monday (January 24) at Alinagar Hajir Mor in Sadar upazila.

The names of the dead were not immediately known. Chapainawabganj Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mozaffar Hossain confirmed the matter.

Locals said the train was going from Chapainawabganj to Rajshahi. At that time, the train collided with a fish-filled three-wheeler when it reached Hajir Mor area. Three people were killed on the spot.
