A Turkish airstrike has killed 4 people in Syria. The airstrike was launched on a power plant run by Kurdish fighters in Syria.

The airstrike hit the Malikia power plant in Hasakah province in Syria on Tuesday. IS members tried to break the prison last month.

About 350 people have been killed so far in the prison raids.

At least four people were killed in the attack, which targeted the power plant, the War Monitor reported. Among them are staff at the center and members of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces.

Some parts of the power plant were damaged in the attack. As a result, people in several nearby towns and villages were left without electricity.

Meanwhile, Turkey said on Wednesday that its warplanes had carried out air strikes targeting Kurdish positions in Iraq and Syria.

Turkey considers Kurdish fighters as terrorists and militants. As a result, the country often attacks them.
