Prominent journalist Pir Habibur Rahman in ICU

Peer Habibur Rahman, executive editor of the country's leading daily Bangladesh Pratidin, suffered a stroke on Friday (February 4th) evening. He was later admitted to Labaid Specialized Hospital of the capital and kept in ICU.

Mentioning that his condition is stable, Pir Habibur Rahman's son wished prayers to all for his father’s speedy recovery.

Journalist Pir Habibur Rahman was suffering from cancer. He was recently treated in Delhi. Apart from incurable cancer, Pir Habibur Rahman also has other physical conditions including kidney disease.
