LGRD minister: New constructions in Dhaka will need city corporation permit too

Any new construction in the capital will require approval from the Dhaka city corporations from now on.

Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) Minister Tajul Islam disclosed the information on Sunday (February 6).

"Official approval must be sought from both Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) and the city corporations before constructing any infrastructure in Dhaka," he said.
