Cold waves are getting milder in the country

The extent of the cold wave has decreased and may decrease further. In this case, it may rain from Wednesday (February 9). The meteorological office said this in a forecast on Monday evening. Meteorologist Mohammad Abdul Hamid Mia said the extension of the sub-continental high pressure zone is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas.

In this case, the weather will be dry across the country till Tuesday (February 8) evening with temporary partly cloudy sky. There will be moderate to heavy fog in the northwestern part of the country and river basins from midnight to morning and light to moderate fog elsewhere in the country. Night and day temperatures may rise slightly across the country.

Meanwhile, mild cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur division including Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Naogaon district and Sitakunda upazila.

There is a possibility of rain in the country by Wednesday. And the extended five-day weather may lower the night temperature.
