Rohingya youth detained with 5.7cr Tk worth yaba

Armed Police Battalion (APBN) have detained a Rohingya youth, Sadek Hossain, along with 1,69,000 pieces of yaba from Balukhali Rohingya camp in Ukhia upazila of Cox's Bazar.

APBN Additional Superintendent of Police (Media) Kamran Hossain confirmed the matter on Thursday morning. Earlier on that day, he was arrested from a shed at Camp-10.

The arrested Rohingya Sadek Hossain is the son of Mir Ahmed of G / 16 block of Balukhali Camp-10.

ASP Kamran Hossain said APBN members went on an operation on Thursday morning after receiving information that a consignment of yaba was stored in the camp's shed. A search was conducted there and 1,69,000 pieces yaba were seized. The accused Sadeq was arrested at that time. A case will be filed against him. He will be handed over to Ukhia police.
