The Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate
rainfall in some parts of the country in the next 48 hours. It has been
reported that the winter will not increase even if the temperature decreases a
little after the rains.
On Friday (February 18) night, meteorologist Tariful Newaz
Kabir told the media that light to moderate rains are expected in several
districts of the country, including Dhaka, by Sunday (February 20).
He added that even if the temperature drops a little after
the rains, it will not feel as cold as before. There is no sign of cold this
month.
The weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 6pm on
Friday said that the weather across the country may remain dry with temporary
partly cloudy skies.
Light fog may fall somewhere in the river basin of the
country at dawn. Nighttime temperatures may drop slightly across the country
and daytime temperatures may remain almost unchanged.
