Bangladesh to field after losing toss in 1st ODI

Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi has won the toss and decided to bat first against Bangladesh in the first ODI of the three-match series which is being held at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Wednesday.

The match will be started at 11:00 am and will be broadcasted live by T-Sports.

The Bangladesh national cricket team is going to play in ODI format after a long seven months. The Tigers are facing Afghanistan today in the first ODI of a three-match series. Winning this series will give Tigers a chance to rise to the top of the ODI Super League. Bangladesh lost the toss in the first ODI amid such an equation. 

Yasir Ali Chowdhury Rabbi is making his maiden for Bangladesh in this match. Earlier, Yasir started his journey in the national team’s colorful outfit thanks to his great performance in the white ball. He will be seen batting at number five in today’s match.

All three matches of the series are in the ICC ODI Super League. Bangladesh are currently second in the points table of the ICC ODI Super League with 80 points from 8 wins in 12 matches.
