Biman ticketing going to be digital from next month

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that Biman Bangladesh Airlines will be digitized from next month.

She was speaking at a function organized by Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited on the occasion of its golden jubilee at Balaka Bhaban of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Wednesday (February 23).

She attended the function via video conference from Ganobhaban, the official residence of the Prime Minister.

Sheikh Hasina said that Biman Bangladesh Airlines' passenger service system is being fully digitized from March 2022. Sheikh Hasina said the passenger service system of Biman Bangladesh Airlines has been fully digitized since March 2022. With this, online ticketing, reservations, check-in after arrival at the airport, everything will be online. It is very necessary for our expatriates. Internationally, this system exists all over the world. We were a little behind in this.

She further said that the construction work of the third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is in progress. This work did not stop even during the Corona epidemic. Once the terminal is completed, the efficiency of the Biman will increase further. Advanced technology radar system is being arranged. As a result, along with Biman it will be convenient for everyone, no matter how many planes of other countries pass through the airspace of our country.'
