Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said Corona's losses would
be offset in the next two academic years. Students will now have regular
classes as corona infection is reduced.
She was responding to a question from reporters after
unveiling the wrapper of the publication 'Poet of Politics', distributing the
book 'Unfinished Autobiography' and participating in the Orientation-2022
program of class XI students at Dhaka College on Wednesday (March 2) morning on
the occasion of Mujib's birth centenary and golden jubilee of independence.
He said, "Even though I am attending Dhaka College
today for the students of class XI, I am speaking for all the students."
The students have been going through a kind of trauma for a long time due to
Corona. We hope that by the time the class starts, they will be ready for it.
She hoped that the students would be more focused on their
studies to fill all the previous gaps.
Meanwhile, the wrapping of the new textbook of class XI
2021-22 academic year is being unveiled today, Wednesday. Education Minister
Dipu Moni will unveil the package at the National Curriculum and Textbook Board
(NCTB) office.
The education minister said efforts are being made to
quickly address the crisis of new textbooks for higher secondary in the 2021-22
academic year.
