Temperature may rise slightly

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Monday predicted that day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country. 

The Met Office also forecasted that weather may remain dry over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today. 

Meanwhile, the Depression over Southwest Bay and adjoining area moved Southwestwards, weakened first into a well-marked low, then into a low over the same area and finally became unimportant. Trough of westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area. 

The country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded by 34.0 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda, Cox’s Bazar and Teknaf in the Chattogram division and the minimum temperature today was recorded by 13.2 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in the Sylhet division.
