28 crew members of Banglar Samriddhi reached home safely

28 sailors of the ship 'Banglar Samriddhi', stranded at the Ukrainian port of Alvia due to the war, has reached Dhaka. The Turkish Airlines flight TK-622 carrying them landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12:01 pm on Wednesday (March 9). Airport authorities have confirmed the matter.

Earlier, they left Bucharest, the capital of Romania, at 2:15 pm on Tuesday. Their flight landed in Dhaka today via Istanbul-Dubai.

The body of Mohammad Hadisur Rahman, a third engineer killed in a shipwreck, has also been kept in the freezer of a bunker in Ukraine. He said the body would be brought back to the country at a convenient time.
