PM in Payra to inaugurated the thermal power plant

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has arrived in Patuakhali to inaugurate the country's largest coal-fired thermal power plant. At 10:45 a.m. on Monday (March 21), the helicopter carrying the Prime Minister landed in Payra. At that time, she was given a guard of honor by the members of Bangladesh Police.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is visiting other parts of the country for the first time outside Tungipara amid the Corona epidemic. She is coming to Kalapara in Patuakhali to fulfill her political promise.

She will inaugurate the state-of-the-art ultra-supercritical technology 1,320 MW thermal power plant at Payra in Dhankhali. Besides, Sheikh Hasina will also announce 100% electrification in the country.
