Prizes distributed among the winners of 'Bangladesh Jewellery Expo-2022' raffle draw

Prizes have been distributed among the winners of the raffle draw of the country's first jewelery expo 'Bangladesh Jewellery Expo-2022'. The prizes were handed over to the winners at a ceremony held at the International Convention City in Bashundhara, the capital, on Wednesday (March 23) at 3 p.m.

The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS), the country's traditional trade body, organized the 'Bangladesh Jewellery Expo-2022' at the International Convention City from March 17 to 19 on the occasion of the birthday of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the Bengali nation. The three-day fair featured interesting raffle draws for buyers and visitors. The total value of which was 25 lakh Tk.

Earlier, the winners of the raffle draw were announced at the closing ceremony of the fair on Saturday night. Mohammad Abdul Quddus, a resident of Mirpur-14, got the first prize of Tk 10 lakh. Torun Poddar got the second prize of 5 lakh Tk. In addition, 10 were given the third prize and each of them received 1 lakh Tk.

On the other hand, there was a special raffle draw for the media workers who came to the fair. Ali Ahmed, a journalist from ATV, Mohammad Sayed Hasan Khan, a journalist from Dainik Aajkal Khabar and Haider Ali, the head and special correspondent of the investigation cell of Dainik Kalerkantha received the first prize of Tk 1 lakh. Masum Khan of Jamuna Television received Tk 50,000 as the second prize. Golam Quader, a journalist of private television ATN News, received the third prize of Tk 30,000. 4 journalists got 25 thousand Tk as the fourth prize and 7 journalists got 20 thousand Tk as the fifth prize. In addition, a total of 27 media workers, including one with 15 thousand Tk and ten with 10 thousand Tk, received prizes in raffle draw.
