Anti-drug drive in the capital, 51 arrested

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 51 people in anti-drug operations in different areas of the capital Dhaka.

The operation was carried out in different police station areas of the capital from 6 am on Monday (March 28) to 6 am today (Tuesday, March 29).

At that time, 7,443 pieces of yaba, 411 grams, 26 puria (small packet) of pure heroin, 9 kg, 10 grams of cannabis and 14 injections were seized from them.

A total of 36 cases have been registered against the arrested persons under the Narcotics Control Act.
