Rain, thundershowers with gusty wind likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department today predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind at some places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am today.

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions during the time, said a met office bulletin.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 35 degrees Celsius at Kumarkhali in Khulna Division and minimum temperature today was 21 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur.

The sun sets at 6.15pm and rises at 5:47 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
