(DU) will begin the admission tests for 2021-22 academic session from 3 June
through "Ga Unit" (Business Studies) this year.
Dhaka University Deans Committee took the decision Wednesday
(6 April).
The tests are likely to end 11 June.
Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman, vice-chancellor of Dhaka
University, told The Business Standard that the formal announcement will be
made Thursday (7 April).
The admission tests for "Ga Unit" (Business
Studies) scheduled to be taken 3 June, "Kha Unit" (Humanities) 4
June, "Ka Unit" (Science) 10 June, "Gha Unit" (Combined) 11
June and "Cha Unit" (Fine Arts) 11 June.
Meanwhile, the admission test for first-year students under
the 2021-22 academic session at Bangladesh University of Engineering and
Technology (Buet) will be held on 4 June, according to the decision taken by
Buet Academic Council.
Professor Dr Mizanur Rahman, director of Students Welfare at
Buet, said, they will take the admission test in two phases.
"We will select 20,000 aspirants primarily taking
admission on 4 June. Finally, we will hold the test on 20 June," he said.
