Bashundhara Group MD awarded ‘Person of the Year’

Sayem Sobhan Anvir, MD of Bashundhara Group, has been named 'Person of the Year'. And Bashundhara Group, the top industrial group in Bangladesh, has won the 'Greatest Brand' award. Bashwanhara Group Vice Chairman Safwan Sobhan has also been named Asia One Global Leader of the Year.

They were awarded these rare honors at the Greatest Brands and Leaders 2021-2022 Asia-America-Africa Awards program. The awards were presented at a glittering ceremony at the 17th edition of the Asia One Media Group at the Marriott Hotel in London, United Kingdom.

Bashundhara, a leading industrial group in Bangladesh, was selected as the Greatest Brand for its significant contribution to the country's economy, excellence in trade and quality. Bashundhara Group MD Sayem Sobhan Anvir was nominated Person of the Year for his outstanding contribution at the consumer and industry level. He was nominated by United Research Services and AsiaOne Magazine.

Meanwhile, Bashundhara Group Vice Chairman Safwan Sobhan has been nominated by Asia Europe Business and Social Group for his special contribution and representation in the industry. Md. Nazmul Haque an advisor received the award on behalf of Bashundhara Group MD Sayem Sobhan Anvir.

Various activities of Bashundhara Group were highlighted in the program through documentary. Incoming guests are introduced to the special aspects and features of the group. It includes various media activities of East West Media Group, various products of Bashundhara Group's industrial establishments, quality standards and humanitarian activities.
