Train derailed in Comilla, Dhaka-Chittagong train communication closed

Train communication of Cumilla with Dhaka, Sylhet, Chattogram and Noakhali has been suspended following derailment of three bogies of a freight train in Rajapur railway station.

The derailment incident took place around 4am on Monday, said Liakat Ali Mazumder, deputy assistant engineer (road) of railway in Cumilla. 

A relief train has reached to the spot. The communication will be restored after 11am, said the official.
