US congratulates Bangladesh on Global Covid recovery index

Bangladesh ranks 5th out of 121 countries in the world in the Global Covid recovery index.

"Congratulations to Bangladesh for being ranked 5th out of 121 countries in the Global Covid recovery index," the US embassy said in a statement. 75.46% people in the country have received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine and 68.19% received two dose of Covid-19 vaccines. The United States is proud to partner with the Government of Bangladesh in the distribution of 64 million Covid-19 vaccines across the country.

Bangladesh ranks 5th out of 121 countries in the world to recover from Covid-19 and also holds the first place among the countries of South Asia.
