'Sundarbans Honey Tourism' a newly developed tourist center in Satkhira

'Sundarbans Honey Tourism' was established in Satkhira Range with the help of Sundarbans Forest Department and social initiatives. The organizers said that this initiative has been taken to develop the tourism industry.

It was officially inaugurated at noon on Wednesday (May 18) by Abu Naser Mohsin, Divisional Forest Officer, Khulna West Forest Department.

Speaking as the chief guest, Abu Naser Mohsin said the forest department has undertaken various projects to develop the Sundarbans. One of which is 'Sundarbans Hani Tourism'. At the meeting of Khulna Deputy Commissioner on the World Tourism Day on 27 November, a plan was adopted to do tourism in the Sundarbans. He said more initiatives would be taken to attract tourists.

MA Hassan, government forest conservator in the western Sundarbans, said, "We welcome Hani Tourism, but we have to conduct tours in groups with trained tour guides to protect ourselves from tiger attacks." The forest department is always ready for the safety of tourists.

He added that a six-cornered house has been constructed in Tengrakhali. Which will be the honey museum.
