People of Bengal will be able to see the full moon standing on Padma Bridge: Quader

Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has said that the people of Bengal will be able to see the full moon by standing on the Padma Bridge on a full moon night next June. I will send a summary to the leader (Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina) at the end of next week. We will inaugurate the Padma Bridge when she gives us a date.

He said this while addressing a discussion meeting organized by Bangladesh Chhatra League at Teacher- Student Center (TSC) of Dhaka University on Saturday (May 21). The meeting was organized on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Homecoming Day.

Obaidul Quader said the World Bank withdrew its cooperation with allegations of corruption. We have built the Padma bridge with our money, even though they left. People of Bengal will see the full moon on the Padma Bridge on the moonlit night of June.
