BNP leaders are expert in looting and plundering: Quader

Awami League General Secretary, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said in response to BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's recent remarks about the number of stations on the Metrorail, that the public interest is not really important to Fakhrul. The important thing is how to loot money. BNP leaders are expert in looting and plundering. That’s why they only look for money without considering public interest.

Obaidul Quader made the remarks at a briefing at his residence on Monday (May 30) morning.

Mentioning that there are Metrorail stations at a distance of less than one kilometer in other countries of the world, the Minister said that the location of Metrorail stations has been decided considering the public interest considering the international context and the advice of the consultants.

He said that BNP did not dream of implementing any mega project in the country while in power, but they are now spreading mega lies about the mega projects which raised question about the mental health of the BNP leaders in people’s mind.
