Booster Dose Week 4-10 June

Booster dose week will be observed across the country from June 4 to 10 to prevent the ongoing epidemic of coronavirus infection. Everyone from 18 years of age and older can take a booster dose at this time.

This information was given in a notification of the Management Information System (MIS) branch of the health department on Tuesday (May 31).

The notification said that, the corona vaccine booster dose week will be observed across the country from June 4 to 10. A third or booster dose can be taken at the nearest immunization center on any of these seven days. However, everyone must be wearing a mask when coming to the vaccination center.

It further said that under the campaign, all citizens aged 18 and above will be able to get third or booster dose of Covid vaccine. The booster dose can be taken four months after the second dose.

According to the department, vaccination will start from 9 am in all vaccination centers in the country. In this case, vaccination card is mandatory. In addition to the booster dose, the normal functioning of the Covid vaccination will continue.

Noting that the vaccine is an effective solution to prevent corona, the department said that a third or booster dose must be taken to get the full benefit of the vaccine.
