BNP has no power to thwart elections: Jahangir Kabir Nanak

Awami League presidium member Jahangir Kabir Nanak has said that the BNP-Jamaat evil force has risen again with the upcoming 12th National elections in mind. They want blood and they want to destabilize the country. But there is no benefit, no matter how much you conspire, you do not have the power to resist the election.

He was speaking in front of the National Press Club on Thursday (June 2) in protest of the recent indecent and derogatory remarks by BNP, Juba Dal and Chhatra Dal and other BNP affiliates targeting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the mother of humanity.

Jahangir Kabir Nanak said, living in 2022 the BNP-Jamat dreams of ’75. They threaten to assassinate Sheikh Hasina with the slogan, ‘'Let the tool of '75 roar again”. Remember, Mr. Mirza Fakhrul Saheb, this Bangladesh will never allow 75 to happen again.

He told BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir that, you have to decide which path you want to take. The path of conspiracy or the path of democracy. If you want to walk in the path of democracy, then you have to accept the Election Commission. Elections will be held under the Independent Election Commission. The election will be held on time as per the constitution. You have no power to thwart the election.

Nanak said that Sheikh Hasina broke the poisonous teeth of the conspiracy that took place over the Padma Bridge. With Padma Bridge being complete she has proved that the country is moving forward and will move forward.
