PM to inaugurate Hajj programme on Friday

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate this year’s Hajj programme on Friday. 

The premier will virtually inaugurate the programme at Hajj Camp in the capital’s Ashkona at 10am, Religion Affairs Ministry said this in a press release on Thursday. 

Prime Minister will also exchange her views with the Hajj pilgrims. 

State Minister for Religion Affairs Md. Faridul Haque Khan and State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali will present at the Hajj camp.

This year, a total of 57,585 pilgrims from Bangladesh will be permitted to take part in Hajj. Of them, 4,000 will perform hajj under the government management.
