Fire on Sylhet-bound Parabot Express

A fire broke out in two bogies of Parabat Express in the airport area of Kamalganj upazila of Moulvibazar. Two units of Kamalganj Fire Service have left for the spot after receiving the news of fire.

The incident took place at around 1pm on Saturday (June 11) in the airport area of Shamsernagar Union in the upazila. Due to this incident, train movement on Dhaka-Sylhet route has been stopped.

Kamalganj Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Yardous Hasan confirmed the news.

He said the fire service was working to control the fire. So far no casualties have been reported.
