ECNEC approves ten projects costing Tk 10,655 crore

10 projects at a cost of Taka 10,855.60 crore have been approved at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC).

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the NEC conference room in Dhaka's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Tuesday (June 14) via video conference from Ganabhaban. After the meeting, State Minister for Planning Dr Shamsul Alam gave details in a press conference.

State Minister for Planning Dr Shamsul Alam said, the total cost of the project includes government funding of Tk 5,142.55 crore, the agency's own funding of Tk 756.30 crore and external debt of Tk 4,956.75 crore.
